Carrhomes is building 47 traditional single-family homes at Winstead Manor in Alexandria, where residents can enjoy walking trails and a location directly across from Fort Belvoir Golf Course.

Each home in this Fairfax County community will include a brick front, a brick stoop and steps, vinyl siding, professional landscaping, and a two-car garage. Three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all four models feature four bedrooms; two or 31/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the two-story foyer and kitchen and breakfast area; 9-foot ceilings on the main and lower levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace with a marble hearth and surround; oak stairs and railings; 42-inch cabinets, upgraded appliances and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen; ceramic-tile flooring in all baths; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 3,103 to 3,933 finished square feet, with base prices from $624,900 to $669,900.

The Alexandria model, with 3,402 square feet, is priced from $649,900. This home features a library on one side of the two-story foyer and, on the other, a formal living room separated by columns from the formal dining room. The center-island kitchen includes a pantry and desk and opens onto the breakfast area. A step-down defines the open family room, which has a fireplace and two walls of windows. Nearby are a powder room and a laundry room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a sitting room with a half-wall and a step-up to the bedroom.
