Ryan Homes is building 300 single-family homes at the Glens at Wellington in Laurel, Md., where residents will eventually enjoy a swimming pool with a clubhouse and tennis courts.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will be built on a quarter-acre to a third-acre site and will include beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. Brick fronts, front porches and three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all seven models feature four bedrooms, 2 or 31/2 baths, hardwood or ceramic-tile flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, crown and chair-rail moldings, a gas fireplace, 42-inch cabinets in the center-island kitchen and ceramic-tile flooring in all baths.

The homes have about 2,250 to 3,600 finished square feet, with base prices from $414,990 to $505,990.

The Avalon model, with 2,900 square feet, is priced from $474,990. This home features a two-story foyer with a split staircase; a formal living room and formal dining room flanking the foyer; a kitchen with a walk-in pantry, a center island and a breakfast area; and a central two-story family room.

The corner study and adjacent powder room can be converted to a bedroom and full bath, and this level can be modified with a one-level family room and a master sitting area upstairs. A laundry room links the garage and the kitchen.

Upstairs, the master suite has a cathedral ceiling; a walk-in closet; and a bath with a tub, separate shower and dual-sink vanity.
