The Friends of the Patuxent, who will sponsor their annual Patuxent Wildlife Art Show and Sale on March27-28, 10a.m. to 4:30p.m., at the Patuxent National Wildlife Refuge’s visitor center, will have Charles County artist Robert “Robby” Bealle as their featured artist.

Bealle took top honors for the second time last year in the 29th annual Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp Design contest with an oil painting of lesser scaup. The painting is reproduced on the current state migratory bird stamp. There is no charge to attend the event.

For a reception March26 at 6p.m., however, there is a fee. Tickets may be purchased by visiting www.friendspwrc.org or calling 301/497-5789.
