K&P Builders is constructing 22 single-family homes, including two-story Colonials and ramblers, on 1- to 3-acre lots at the Ridges in Brandywine, where residents can enjoy forest-conservation areas and the seclusion of wooded homesites.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include a brick front, beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a side-entry two-car garage. Stone fronts are optional.

Inside, all five models feature four or five bedrooms, 21/2 baths, hardwood or ceramic-tile flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, crown and chair-rail moldings, a gas fireplace, 42-inch cabinets and upgraded appliances in the kitchen, ceramic-tile flooring and tub and shower surrounds, a master bath with a tub and separate shower, a high-tech wiring package, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 3,050 to 4,260 finished square feet, with base prices from $460,900 to $532,900.

The Federal model, with 4,260 square feet, is priced from $532,900. This home features a two-story foyer flanked by the living room and dining room, which has decorative columns.

Across the rear of the home are the study, a powder room and a dramatic hexagonal step-down family room with multiple windows.

Adjacent to the family room are the center-island kitchen and the breakfast area, which includes a rear staircase.

Upstairs, the master suite features multiple rooms, including a hexagonal bedroom; a den; an office; three wall closets and a walk-in closet; and a bath with a corner tub, a separate shower with a seat and two separate vanities. Three more bedrooms and another full bath complete this level.
