U.S. Home Corp. is building 1,500 homes at Fairway Village in the planned community of St. Charles, where residents can enjoy an array of recreational amenities including a golf course, parks, a swimming pool and clubhouse, hiking and biking trails, and tennis courts.

Each home in this Charles County community will include low-maintenance vinyl siding, professional landscaping, sodded front and side yards, and a two-car garage.

Inside, all five models feature at least four bedrooms, 21/2 baths, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, oak railings and banisters, six-panel Colonial-style doors, oak cabinets in the kitchen, designer light fixtures, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 1,829 to 2,634 finished square feet, with base prices anticipated to range from about $355,000 to $425,000.

The Langford model, with 2,634 square feet, is expected to be priced from about $425,000. This home features a two-story foyer with a central staircase, an open living and dining room with optional decorative columns, and a central kitchen and breakfast area with a walk-in pantry.

Upstairs, the master suite has a double-door entrance into a separate sitting room; a step-up into the bedroom; a walk-in closet; a second closet; and a bath with a corner tub, a separate shower and a dual-sink vanity. The master bedroom can be accessorized with a three-sided fireplace and a bar. Three more bedrooms and another full bath complete this level.
