Centex Homes is building 428 single-family homes, town homes and cluster-style homes at Lansdowne on the Potomac in Leesburg, where residents can enjoy two golf courses, swimming pools, a recreation center, an art center, tennis courts, ball fields, parks, trails and high-speed Internet service.

Each single-family home in this Loudoun County community will include a brick or stone front, a brick or stone stoop, professional landscaping, a sodded lawn, an asphalt drive and a two-car garage.

Inside, all eight models feature four or five bedrooms; two or 31/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on all three levels; upgraded moldings; a masonry or gas fireplace; 42-inch oak cabinets and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen.

The homes have 2,718 to 4,175 finished square feet, with base prices from $495,990 to $615,990.

The Princeton model, with 3,741 square feet, is priced from $554,990. This home, a center-hall Colonial, features a library, an open living and dining room and a central hall.

The master suite has a separate sitting room with columns and an optional fireplace; two walk-in closets; and a bath with a raised tub, a separate shower with a seat and two separate sinks. The upper level also has a laundry room and three more bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet. Two bedrooms share a connecting bath with a double-sink vanity, and the fourth bedroom has a private bath.
