Winchester Homes is building 118 one- and two-car-garage town homes at Montjoy, a community near Ellicott City that will also include single-family homes. Residents can enjoy a community swimming pool, walking trails and a location near commuter routes and the MARC train.

Each home in this Howard County community will include a choice of a brick front or 5-inch vinyl siding, plus professional landscaping and a one- or two-car garage.

Inside, all the Freedom Series models feature two or three bedrooms; 21/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; vaulted and cathedral ceilings upstairs; Whirlpool appliances and square-edged laminate kitchen counters; a master bath with ceramic-tile flooring, a tub and separate shower; a plumbing rough-in for a basement bath; a finished lower-level recreation room; a high-tech wiring package; and gas hot water.

The Freedom Series homes have about 2,000 finished square feet, with base prices from $472,300 to $482,000.

Buyers can choose to mix and match a variety of floor plans on all three levels. The main level has several choices, with a country kitchen in the rear or a front kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a variety of combined living and dining room configurations.

Upstairs, buyers can choose between three plans with dual master suites or three plans with three bedrooms.
