By the numbers

323-pointers attempted by the Wizards yesterday, a team record. The old mark of 30 was reached twice, first against Seattle in double overtime (Nov. 20, 1996) and then against Dallas (Nov. 5, 2003)

Key to the game

With the contest tied at 114-114, Philadelphia guard Allen Iverson stole an inbounds pass with 3.3 seconds left in the overtime. He bolted down the right side and hit a layup with 0.2 seconds left to clinch the victory for the 76ers.

Seen and heard

Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas grabbed three rebounds against Philadelphia and is now two shy of 1,000 for his career. … It was just the fourth time this season the 76ers have scored at least 100 points. Washington has failed to score at least 100 points just three times this season.
