Wormald Cos. is building 677 homes at Mill Island at Worman’s Mill, a 104-acre peninsula in Frederick. Existing and planned amenities at Worman’s Mill include a clubhouse with pools, tennis courts and areas for socializing; parks; shops; and restaurants.

Each of the Wellington Villa homes in this Frederick County community will include English country-style architecture with stone detailing and vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, both villa models feature three bedrooms; 21/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room; oak railings; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets and Corian counters in the kitchen; ceramic-tile flooring and tub and shower surrounds; a first-floor master suite; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; a telecommunications wiring package; a bath rough-in for the basement; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have from 2,418 to 2,470 finished square feet, with base prices from the low- to upper $400,000s.

The Regency model, an end unit with 2,470 square feet, features a wraparound covered porch that leads into a dramatic octagonal entrance gallery. The main level also has a library with a deep bay window, a two-story living room with a fireplace and a dining room with columns and optional corner cabinets. The kitchen and breakfast area include a door to a patio.

The master suite has two walk-in closets and a bath with a tub, a separate shower and a double-sink vanity. Nearby is a laundry room.

Upstairs are a loft, two more bedrooms and another full bath.
