Craftsman Homes is building 38 single-family houses at Oak Creek in Upper Marlboro, a gated community where residents can enjoy a resortlike lifestyle with a golf course, a clubhouse, a swimming pool, a lake, parks, tennis courts and walking trails.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include a brick front, professional landscaping, an asphalt driveway and a two-car garage. Three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all eight models feature four or five bedrooms; two, three or 4 baths; a foyer, kitchen, breakfast room, laundry room and powder room; oak stairs; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; crown and chair-rail moldings; a wood-burning fireplace; 42-inch wood cabinets and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen; ceramic-tile flooring and tub and shower surrounds; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; and gas hot water.

The homes have about 2,555 to more than 7,000 finished square feet, with base prices from the upper $500,000s to the $800,000s.

The Oakton model, with 4,200 square feet, features a two-story foyer flanked by a study and a formal living room, which opens onto the formal dining room. At the rear of the house is a step-down two-story family room with a fireplace and a rear staircase. Nearby are the breakfast area, kitchen, laundry room and powder room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room; two walk-in closets; and a bath with a tub, a separate shower and two separate sinks.
