Caruso Homes is building 63 single-family homes on 1-acre homesites at the Estates at Deacon Hill in Fredericksburg.

Each home in this Stafford County community will include a brick front, 6-inch beaded vinyl siding and a two-car side-entry garage.

Inside, all five models feature four bedrooms; two or three full baths and one or two half baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with ceramic-tile flooring, a tub and separate shower; a three-piece plumbing rough-in; and gas hot water.

The homes have 3,000 to 4,600 finished square feet, with base prices from $464,990 to $574,990.

The Monticello model, with 4,600 square feet, is priced from $574,990. This home features a two-story foyer flanked by a formal living room and a formal dining room, each with an optional tray ceiling. In one corner are a powder room and a library.

The family room has an optional beamed ceiling and columns, plus a step-down to the breakfast area and center-island kitchen. Near the kitchen are a rear staircase, a second powder room, a walk-in pantry and a laundry room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room; two walk-in closets; and a bath with a tub, a separate glass-block shower and two sinks. The master suite can be expanded with a cedar closet and an exercise room over the garage.

Two more bedrooms share a hall bath, and the fourth bedroom has a private bath.
