Ryland Homes is building 145 garage town homes on 2,700-square-foot homesites at Courthouse Square in Stafford, a community close to Interstate 95, U.S. Route 1 and a Virginia Railway Express Station.

Each home in this Stafford County community, which includes a tot lot and a gazebo, will feature vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a one-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all four models feature three finished levels with three or four bedrooms, 21/2 baths, 42-inch oak cabinets and recessed lighting in the kitchen, Armstrong no-wax vinyl floors, and a home office.

The homes have 2,350 to 2,686 finished square feet, with base prices from $401,990 to $420,990.

The Oxford model, with 2,686 square feet, is priced from $420,990. This home features a front porch that opens onto a foyer with a powder room, a living room, a dining room, and a staircase to the upper and lower levels. The first-floor laundry room connects the garage and the kitchen.

Across the rear of the home are the open center-island kitchen, the breakfast area and the family room, each with several windows. A fireplace can be added to the family room, and the breakfast area can be expanded.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a private bath with a dual-sink vanity and a combination tub and shower.

The upper level has three more bedrooms, which share a hall bath.

The finished lower level includes a recreation room, storage and a home office.
