Head to headache: Although Washington’s Gilbert Arenas was 3-2 in head-to-head meetings with the Nets’ Jason Kidd, Kidd dominated the statistical battle. Kidd had averaged more points (27.6 to 13.6), more assists (9.6 to 3.0), more rebounds (7.2 to 3.8) and more steals (2.6 to 1.6).
