Craftmark Homes is building 39 traditional single-family homes on homesites up to 14,460 square feet at Hunters Crest near Alexandria. Residents can enjoy a swimming pool, tennis courts, a fitness center and community center.

Each home in this Fairfax County community will include a brick front, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. Three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all nine models feature four or five bedrooms; three full baths and one half bath; hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen and breakfast area, laundry and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on the main and lower levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas or wood-burning fireplace; 42-inch wood cabinets, Corian counters and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; ceramic-tile flooring in full baths; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have from 2,963 to 5,000 finished square feet, with base prices from $990,900 to $1,282,900.

The Oakton model, with 4,200 square feet, is priced from $1,046,900. This home features a two-story foyer with double doors into a study, a formal living room and dining room defined by columns, and a spacious kitchen and breakfast area open to the two-story family room, which has a fireplace, two walls of windows, columns and a rear staircase. The main level includes an oversized laundry room linked to the garage, a powder room and a walk-in pantry in the kitchen.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room, two walk-in closets and a luxury bath. The upper level has two sets of bedrooms connected by shared baths, for a total of five bedrooms and three full baths.
