Equity Homes Inc. is offering six distinctive models at pre-construction prices at Stoney Creek off River Road in Potomac, an area well-known for its elegant estates and village atmosphere.

The homes have 4,319 to 5,912 finished square feet and will be built on 2-acre homesites. Prices begin at more than $2,000,000 for these estates, each of which will include as standard features four sides of brick, a three-car side-entry garage and a side conservatory with hardwood flooring.

Distinguished brick driveway monuments will be placed at the entrance to each estate, and the homes will be professionally landscaped with sodded yards.

Inside, hardwood flooring will be placed in the foyer, living room, dining room, powder room and study, in addition to the conservatory. The first floor will feature 10-foot ceilings with 8-foot doors; open oak stairs; and dramatic three-piece crown moldings, two-piece chair-rail moldings, and shadow-box moldings in the foyer, main staircase and dining room.

Three-piece crown moldings also will be placed in the living room and lower and upper halls. The family room will include a masonry fireplace with a gas log.

The kitchens at Stoney Creek include hardwood flooring in the kitchen, breakfast area and walk-in pantry; granite counters; upgraded 42-inch cabinets; a center island; and stainless-steel appliances.

The second floor in each home has 9-foot ceilings, and the master suite includes a bath with a soaking tub, a separate shower with dual shower heads, 12-by-12-inch ceramic tile flooring, Corian counters and recessed lighting. Secondary baths include 6-by-6-inch ceramic tile flooring.

Mechanical features in these homes include a two-zone heating and cooling system, a gas water heater, a security system, and a multimedia wiring package.

The Lancaster II model, with 5,116 finished square feet, is base-priced from $2,143,900. Arched openings are a repeated architectural theme in this home, leading from the foyer into the dining room and into the living room, and from the central hall into the family room and into the breakfast room.

A curving staircase leads from the foyer to the upper-level gallery. The first level also includes a library, which can be accessorized with French doors into the foyer, living room and family room. The conservatory is off the side of the living room and library.

The family room has windows on two sides, a fireplace and an optional coffered ceiling, along with an opening into the breakfast room. The breakfast room has a deep bay window with multiple windows and is open to the center-island kitchen.

The kitchen includes a walk-in pantry, a planning desk and a butler’s pantry leading into the dining room. A rear staircase connects the kitchen to the upper level.

The main level also includes a formal powder room, a laundry room with ceramic tile flooring and a powder room, and a mudroom with a bench and closet.

The second-floor master suite covers almost half of the upper level, with a double-door entrance into the sitting room, which has a deep bay window and is flanked by the master bedroom and master bath.

Columns define the bedroom, and buyers can add a three-sided fireplace between the sitting room and the bedroom. Double doors lead into the master bath, which has a central walk-through shower and a central tub, with two separate vanity areas and two separate rooms with commodes. The suite also includes two walk-in closets and a linen closet.

Three more bedrooms complete this level, each with a walk-in closet and a private full bath.
