Through Jan. 6: The Christmas exhibit in the National Museum of Civil War Medicine’s conference room, 48 E. Patrick St., Frederick, focuses on 19th-century Christmas traditions and covers the celebration of Christmas by both the soldiers in the field and their families at home. Information: 301/695-1864.


Today and tomorrow: The Prince William County Historic Preservation Division celebrates a Civil War Christmas at the Ben Lomond Historic Site, 10311 Sudley Manor Drive, Manassas, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
