Ethel H. Dalton, 86, meeting planner

Ethel H. Dalton, a meeting planner in the trade association field, died of pneumonia Dec. 9 at the Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury, Md. She was 86.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Mrs. Dalton attended the Fourteen Holy Martyrs Business School in the city.

During her long career she worked as a meeting planner with the Calcium Chloride Association.

Mrs. Dalton was married to William Leroy Dalton, a veteran trade association executive and consultant in the District. Mr. Dalton died in 1998.

Mrs. Dalton is survived by her sister Virginia Haynes Bentz of Salisbury; stepson William Lee Dalton of Naples, Fla.; stepdaughter Catherine McGlathery of North Las Vegas, Nev.; and a niece and a nephew.
