GOLDFIELD LISTED

The Nevada mining town of Goldfield has been added to the State Register of Historic Places. Goldfield has about 300 residents, but at its peak, it was home to 20,000 people. That was during the early 1900s, when Goldfield was the state’s largest city and the nation’s largest gold producer.
