In yesterday’s editions, The Washington Times incorrectly reported the role of the Carter Center during the Iraqi elections. No Carter Center personnel were in Jordan on the day of the election, and the center did not monitor the election in any way.

A quote in the Inside the Beltway column in yesterday’s editions incorrectly identified California atheist Michael Newdow.

A headline in The Washington Times on Tuesday incorrectly described the Shi’ite community in Iraq. The Shi’ites constitute a majority in the country.
