Pulte Homes is building 138 single-family homes on quarter-acre lots at Galyn Manor in Brunswick, where residents experience a country-style atmosphere a mile from the Potomac River and a mile from a MARC train station.

Each home in this Frederick County community will include wood-grain vinyl siding, slate steppingstones, a sodded yard and a two-car garage. Brick and stone fronts are optional.

Inside, all four models feature four bedrooms, 2 baths, a two-story foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, smooth-finish ceilings and walls, a gas fireplace with a marble surround, 42-inch oak cabinets in the center-island kitchen, ceramic-tile tub and shower surrounds in the private master bath, high-tech wiring, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 2,304 to 2,926 finished square feet, with base prices from $429,990 to $466,990.

The Westford model, with 2,926 square feet, is priced from $466,990. This home features a two-story foyer with a central staircase accessible from the front hall and the family room, a formal dining room, a library, a formal living room, a breakfast area off the kitchen, a laundry room with a laundry chute, and a two-story family room with windows on three sides.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a bath with a tub, a linen closet and a separate shower.

Three more bedrooms share a hall bath with a double-sink vanity. One bedroom has a walk-in closet, and another has private access to the bath.
