For buyers interested in strolling to the White House, the National Gallery of Art, the MCI Center, Gallery Place, the Washington Convention Center, art galleries, theaters and numerous shops and restaurants, the space available in their new home matters far less than the location.

Few locations in Northwest Washington offer easier accessibility to urban amenities and offices than the new condominiums at 1150 K St., between 11th and 12th streets. Within three blocks are Metro’s red, blue and orange lines at Metro Center and the blue and orange lines at McPherson Square.

Some 130 homes will be sold at 1150 K St., a new 14-story brick-and-concrete tower by Brennan Beer Gorman/Architects.

The building will feature an elegant lobby with marble, granite and onyx; a landscaped plaza; a conference room; a fitness center; a furnished community room with a kitchen; security; a 24-hour front-desk attendant; and a controlled-access parking garage with 78 spaces for sale.

Owners will also have access to a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Capitol and the Washington Monument and seating for guests.

The condominiums range from 728 to 2,800 square feet, with one-bedroom, one-bedroom-and-den, two-bedroom and penthouse units available.

Standard amenities in each condominium will include granite counters and maple cabinets in the kitchens and baths; stainless-steel appliances; ceramic-tile flooring in the foyer, kitchen and baths; hardwood flooring in the living and dining areas; individually metered electricity; and a full-size washer and dryer.

Some units include a terrace; some have bay windows; and all are pre-wired for telephone, cable TV and high-speed Internet service.

Base prices range from the $300,000s to the $600,000s, with penthouse homes and combined floor plans rising to $1,400,000.

The A model, with 1,054 square feet, available on the second through 14th floors, is priced from the $450,000s to the $600,000s.

This home features an open living room and dining room, a front kitchen, a full bath off the living area, a bedroom with windows on two sides, and a master bedroom with two sets of windows and a private full bath.

The B model, a one-bedroom home with 728 to 773 square feet, depending on the location, is available throughout the building with base prices from the $320,000s to the $430,000s. This model has a kitchen, laundry room and full bath off the foyer, with an open living and dining area and a bedroom.

The M model, with 1,061 square feet, is available on the 12th through 14th floors, with prices beginning in the $600,000s.

This model has a full bath on one side of the foyer and a kitchen on the opposite side. The combined living and dining area in the center of the condominium includes a wall of windows on one side, plus a closet and the laundry closet in one corner.

A hall leads to the two bedrooms, with the master bedroom including a walk-in closet and a private full bath.
