LAS VEGAS — Former Virginia star Roger Mason Jr. scored 29 points, 24 in the second half, to lead the Orlando Magic past the Washington Wizards in Vegas Summer League action yesterday at Cox Pavilion.

Andray Blatche, the Wizards’ lone selection in the recent NBA Draft, led Washington with 13 points and 10 rebounds in 28 minutes. Hiram Fuller added nine points and 13 rebounds.

Wizards forward Jared Jeffries was in attendance, as was free agent Antonio Daniels, who is being courted by a number of NBA teams, reportedly including the Wizards.

The Magic ended the summer league with a 3-2 record. The Wizards are 2-3 with a final game against the Portland Trail Blazers at 4 p.m. today, which will be telecast on NBA TV at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
