Ryan Homes, developer of the Signature Club at Regent Park in Mitchellville, offers both condominiums and villa-style homes to buyers in this active adult community.

For buyers 55 and older, this Prince George’s County development offers a resortlike lifestyle in a location within a mile of the Largo Town Center Metro station.

Other nearby amenities include FedEx Field, the Six Flags America theme park, multiple golf courses, and shopping at the Boulevard at the Capital Centre and Bowie Town Center.

The Signature Club at Regent Park has a two-story clubhouse. When complete, the community will have 60 villa homes and 84 condominiums.

The Hampton Court condominiums, priced from $214,990 to $259,990, have 1,380 square feet on the first and second levels and 1,750 square feet on the penthouse level.

The brick-and-siding buildings include elevators and have been designed with just four homes per floor so that each residence is a corner unit.

Standard features for these homes include a balcony or patio in every home, 9-foot ceilings, hardwood flooring in the foyer, ceramic-tile flooring in all baths, gas heat, 42-inch cabinets and a built-in microwave in the kitchen, and a full-size washer and dryer.

Each home has two bedrooms, two baths and a sunroom in addition to the other living areas.

Each home in the Hampton Court buildings has a foyer entrance with closets and storage on either side, plus a combined open living and dining room.

The sunroom, defined by a decorative column, has access to the balcony or patio. Buyers can transform the sunroom into a formal dining room, a study with French doors or a third bedroom.

The kitchen includes a pantry, space for the washer and dryer, and a breakfast bar.

On one side of the living areas is the master-bedroom suite, which includes a walk-in closet and second closet, and a private full bath with a dual-sink vanity.

A second bedroom and second full bath are on the opposite side of the home. The penthouse-level homes also have an optional loft open to the living area below and an optional cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom.

The Stonehurst Villa model, priced from $384,990 to $406,990, has 2,200 finished square feet, three bedrooms, 21/2 baths and a one-car garage.

Two-car garages are optional with end-unit homes. These homes have a partial brick front, 6-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a post lamp. Inside, standard features include hardwood or ceramic-tile flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the first floor, gas heat, 42-inch cabinets, a pantry, and a built-in microwave in the kitchen. The master suite has a luxury bath with ceramic-tile flooring, a soaking tub and a separate shower. Buyers can add a finished basement level, a morning room, a first-floor study, a fireplace, hardwood flooring and other upgrades to the Stonehurst.

The Stonehurst has a covered front porch leading into the foyer, a formal living room with a sloping ceiling and an optional three-sided fireplace. The living room is open to the dining room, and both these rooms are open to the second level.

At the back of the house is the kitchen and breakfast area. A screened porch or morning room can be added to expand this area.

The first floor also includes a master suite with a walk-in closet and a bath, a laundry room with a linen closet, and a nearby powder room.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet, a full bath, a central loft overlooking the first-floor living areas, a linen closet, and a finished storage closet.
