All-vehicles show set in Silver Spring venue

Briggs Chaney Plaza in Silver Spring is hosting a car show tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is open to custom and vintage cars as well as hot rods, trucks, roadsters and motorcycles.

Registration will cost $10 and trophies will be awarded. The show will be held rain or shine in conjunction with a sidewalk sale day at the plaza, which is located at Colesville Road (Route 29) and Briggs Chaney Road in Silver Spring.

All-makes show set for Sunday

A Maryland car show of all makes for years 1915 through 1980 will be held Sunday in the Baltimore area.

The competition, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Meadowood Regional Park off Baltimore Beltway Exit 23B, will cost $15 for registration on the day of the show. Awards will given to the top 25 judged vehicles. The day will include food and beverages as well as door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

Car show, drags set at Old Dominion track

An all-American car show and street-vehicle drag races are scheduled Sunday at Old Dominion Speedway at 10611 Dumfries Road, Manassas.

Charles County, Md., plans car, music show

A car show will be held July 31 at the Charles County Fairground in conjunction with an oldies show for music fans.

Car registration begins at 10 a.m. and the gates open at noon. Admission is $20. Cash prizes will be given to first-, second-, and third-place winners. The fairground is located on Route 301 in Charles County, Md. No coolers will be allowed, but food and beverages will be available. For more information, call 301/520-9771 or 301/467-5607.

Chrysler Club show scheduled for Aug. 7

The 14th annual “Chrysler Product Owners Club Car Show” will be held Aug. 7 at Manassas Chrysler-Jeep in Northern Virginia.

The show, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open to all Chrysler products, past and present, including Dodge, DeSoto, Imperial and Plymouth, as well as all AMC/Jeep/Eagle vehicles. However, street rods are excluded. Admission is free.

The dealership is located at 8100 Centerville Road (Route 28) in Manassas. Take Interstate 66 west to Exit 53A.

Times show slated for Sept. 4 this year

The 17th “Out of the Past Revue,” hosted by The Washington Times, will be held this year on Sept. 4 at the Spring Hill Recreation Center in McLean.

The show field is open only to vehicles that have appeared in Vern Parker’s “Out of the Past” column in the AutoWeekend section. The free event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m., with winning vehicles chosen by popular vote of those attending.
