Porten Homes is building 57 single-family homes on 2,500-square-foot homesites at Seven Oaks in Odenton, where residents can enjoy a swimming pool, tennis courts, community center, trails and tot lots.

Each home in this Anne Arundel County community will include professional landscaping, a sodded lawn and a one-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all three models feature three or four bedrooms; two or three full baths and one half bath; hardwood flooring in the foyer; 8- and 9-foot ceilings; 42-inch oak cabinets in the kitchen; ceramic tile flooring, and tub and shower surrounds in full baths; a high-tech wiring package; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 1,540 to 2,404 finished square feet, with base prices from $404,500 to $444,500.

The Crestwood model, with 2,404 square feet, is priced from $444,500. This home features a covered entry into the main hall, with a formal living room at the front of the house with windows on three sides. The formal dining room is adjacent to the family room, and a gas fireplace can be added to separate the two rooms.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a bath with a tub, a separate shower and a double-sink vanity.

Three more bedrooms share a hall bath with a double-sink vanity, and the center of this level has a home office loft area with an optional built-in computer desk.
