Despite repeated denials from both parties, rumors are still aswirl that romantic sparks flew between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” which was shot in a variety of romantic locations, including Rome. If true, Mr. Pitt must’ve had some creative explaining to do to wife Jennifer Aniston before they split. “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” opens today in area theaters.

“Angelina and I were busy planning global humanitarian relief. And that takes time.”

“Those infernal paparazzi. I had to take the long way home.”

“That wasn’t what it lookd like. She was just showing me her tattoos.”

“Since Angelina and I play husband and wife, I felt it was a good time to experiment with Method acting.”

“Don’t be so provincial. They eat dinner later in Rome.”
