Patriot Homes is building 500 single-family homes on 7,000-square-foot homesites at Sheffield at Fairway Village in St. Charles, where residents can enjoy the 18-hole White Plains Public Golf Course and lakes. Plans call for a clubhouse, pool and tennis courts.

Each home in this Charles County community will include brick-patterned concrete foundation walls, vinyl siding, a seeded or sod lawn and a two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all 12 models feature four bedrooms, 21/2 baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, 42-inch oak cabinets and a pantry in the center-island kitchen, a master bath with a tub and separate shower, a three-piece plumbing rough-in on the lower level, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 2,021 to 3,254 finished square feet, with base prices from $372,900 to $459,900.

The Molly Pitcher model, with 2,702 square feet, is priced from $428,900. This home features a two-story foyer flanked by a formal living room and formal dining room, each with columns. The corner library has a closet and double doors, plus a nearby powder room. The family room has two walls of windows and opens onto the center-island kitchen and breakfast area.

Upstairs, the master suite has a step-up to a separate sitting room, a cathedral ceiling, two walk-in closets and a bath with a tub and separate shower.

Three more bedrooms, a hall bath and a laundry room complete this level.
