Ryland Homes is building 141 single-family homes on lots 12,000 square feet and larger at Musket Ridge in Stephens City, where residents can enjoy a bike path and a nearby recreation center with a pool.

Each home in this Frederick County community will include vinyl siding, professional landscaping, a sodded lawn and a two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all seven models feature four bedrooms, 21/2 baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, 42-inch oak cabinets and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen, a master bath with a tub and separate shower, a three-piece plumbing rough-in, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 2,500 to 3,480 finished square feet, with base prices from $405,990 to $460,990.

The Southill model, with 3,180 square feet, is priced from $440,990 to $455,990. This home features a two-story foyer flanked by the formal living room and formal dining room, a first-floor library, and a two-story family room with windows on three sides and an optional fireplace.

The center-island kitchen is open to the breakfast area, and a powder room and laundry room are near the garage.

Upstairs, the master suite has a double-door entrance; two walk-in closets; and a bath with a tub; a separate shower and two sinks.

Three more bedrooms share a hall bath. The second bedroom has a walk-in closet.
