Mid-Atlantic Builders Inc. is building 96 single-family homes on third-acre homesites at Fairwood near Bowie and Mitchellville, a planned community with hiking trails, a village center, swimming, tennis and a soccer complex.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include a brick front, a brick stoop, 61/2-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all six models feature four bedrooms; two or three full baths and one half bath; hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on the main and lower levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; oak stairs; 42-inch oak cabinets, Corian counters, ceramic-tile flooring, a desk and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with ceramic-tile flooring, a soaking tub and separate shower; a structured wiring package; and gas heat.

The homes have 3,017 to 3,733 finished square feet, with base prices from $680,990 to $745,990. Homeowner association fees are about $230 monthly.

The Amherst model, with 3,727 square feet, is priced from $745,990. This home features a two-story foyer, a formal living room and formal dining room with transom windows, an octagonal corner library surrounded by windows and a two-story family room with window walls flanking the fireplace.

Upstairs, the master suite has a bay window and tray ceiling in the bedroom, a separate sitting room, two walk-in closets and a bath with a vaulted ceiling.
