Last night from Target Center in Minneapolis:

5 Wizards on the All-Star ballot, which was released yesterday: Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler, Antonio Daniels, Brendan Haywood and Antawn Jamison.

Kevin Garnett was one assist shy of a triple-double, finishing with 25 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists.

Minnesota always has relied on shooter Wally Szczerbiak, and Szczerbiak usually has been a pretty reliable shooter.

A career 50.1 percent shooter from the floor, Szczerbiak came into the game in a huge slump, connecting on just 39.1 percent of his field goals, and shooting just 20.8 percent from 3-point range.

However, the sixth overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft doesn’t sound too concern about his poor shooting.

“You just want to relax,” Szczerbiak said. “You want to go out there and do what you’ve always done. Shooting is an art form.”
