Travelocity and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line are offering patrons a journey for nearly the price of airfare to Florida. Starting at $199 (per person and an inside cabin), cruisers can depart from Tampa aboard Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas and visit a number of western Caribbean ports. Ocean-view cabins are available starting at $229. The four- and five-night cruises are available on select dates in December and January. Visit www.travelocity.com or call 877/815-5446.

With average temperatures in the 50- to 60-degree range, Hilton Head, S.C., is an attractive place to visit during the cold winter months, and the Westin Resort Hilton Head has just released some attractive winter rates to match. The four-diamond resort is offering rooms starting at $69 per night through Jan. 12. Weekend rates may be slightly higher. The oceanfront resort offers a spa, three golf courses and many other outdoor sports. Go to www.westin.com or call 888/625-5144.

The business-class fare wars have begun between the two new all-business-class airlines, Eos and Max Jet. Both airlines offer trans-Atlantic service between heavily traveled New York and the less-traveled London airport at Stansted. Some of the deals available include:

• Eos has extended its introductory fare offer through Jan. 3. Priced at $5,000 round-trip, the rate is $1,500 off Eos’ regular fare. Adding to the special, Eos also is offering a two-for-one holiday special for passengers traveling through Nov. 30 and from Dec. 20 through Jan. 1. Purchase one round-trip ticket, and a companion can fly on the same flight for free. Go to www.eosairlines.com.

• Not to be outdone, Max Jet Airways has again lowered its fares to $679 each way. At $1,358 round-trip, the fare is much lower than those offered by Eos and the other airlines that fly the New York-London route. Go to www.maxjet.com or call 888/435-9629.

Midweek stays just got a little cheaper at L’Auberge Del Mar Resort and Spa, 25 miles north of San Diego. The four-diamond oceanfront resort has released special Sun-sational midweek rates for Sunday through Thursday stays through Dec. 29. Rooms cost $179 per night; average rates this time of year are more than $260 per night. Blackout dates are Wednesday through Nov. 28. Go to www.laubergedelmar.com or call 866/514-1140.

British Airways once again is offering its popular London for Free vacation package — which includes round-trip air and two free nights’ hotel accommodations in London — but it must be booked by Monday. Fares from Washington Dulles International Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport start at $348. Unlike past sales, British Airways also is offering Club World business-class upgrades in this package. Fares start at $2,298 and include five-star hotel accommodations.
