Pulte Homes Inc. is building 30 single-family homes at Whispering Creek, where residents can enjoy a quiet community near Frederick. Town homes also will be part of this development.

Each home in this Frederick County community will include a vinyl and brick front and a two-car garage.

Inside, both single-family home models feature four bedrooms; 21/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room; a fireplace; smooth-finish ceilings; ceramic-tile flooring in the kitchen and full baths; 42-inch raised-panel cabinets, Corian counters and GE Profile appliances in the center-island kitchen; and a master bath with a tub, dual-sink vanity and separate shower.

The homes have 2,534 to 2,715 finished square feet, with base prices in the $500,000s. Homeowner association fees have yet to be determined.

The Ashville model, with 2,715 square feet, is priced from the $500,000s. This home features a two-story foyer that opens to the formal living room and formal dining room, a two-story family room, a corner library, a powder room and a center-island kitchen open to the breakfast area. Off the kitchen are a laundry room with cabinets and a walk-in pantry.

Upstairs, the master suite has a tray ceiling, a walk-in closet and a bath.

Three more bedrooms share a hall bath. An alternate floor plan closes off the two-story foyer and adds a third full bath upstairs, with the fourth bedroom becoming a suite with a walk-in closet and private bath.
