In “Darwin in Math 101” (Forum, Oct. 9, 2005) the probability of the eye developing spontaneously should read 1/10E123. (The denominator is 1 with 123 zeroes following.) The number of nanoseconds in the universe’s age is 3.15 x 10E26. Likewise, the total molecules in the universe is estimated at 10E78.
