Walking and biking to shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, game arcades and miniature golf courses are some of the pleasures of a beach vacation. For buyers of homes at Seaside Village in West Ocean City, Md., these pleasures can become year-round activities.

Located on Isle of Wight Bay just before the bridge crosses into Ocean City, Seaside Village, a development by Centex Homes, includes 121 town homes. Spectacular water views and private boat slips are part of the development’s charm. Seaside Village includes several ponds, a community swimming pool and clubhouse.

The homes feature 6-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. Inside, the homes have three finished levels with hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room, an upgraded trim package and a multimedia wiring package.

The baths have hand-set ceramic-tile flooring and tub and shower surrounds, with a master bath with a tub, separate shower and dual-sink vanity. Each center-island kitchen includes 42-inch flat panel maple cabinets, a food storage pantry and recessed lighting.

The Stargazer model, priced from $523,990, has 2,310 finished square feet. This home features a recreation room on the lower level with an optional fireplace and an optional bath.

The first floor features a gathering room with an adjacent breakfast nook, with both rooms open to the kitchen. At the back of this level are a family room with sliding glass doors to the optional deck, and a powder room.

The second level has a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and bath, with the options of adding a boxed ceiling and a deck. At the front of the home are two bedrooms, a full bath and a laundry room.

The Stargazer and Driftwood models can be customized with a three-level extension that adds a game room to the lower level, a sunroom off the family room and a master sitting room off the bedroom.

The Driftwood model, priced from $537,990, has 2,498 finished square feet. This home has a recreation room and an alcove for use as a game room or exercise room on the lower level, plus an entrance to the garage.

Buyers can opt to create a den and an extra bedroom from these spaces and add a full bath. A fireplace can also be added to the recreation room.

The main level includes an open living room and dining room, with an option to add a study in place of a portion of the living room. A pass-through links the dining room with the kitchen and breakfast area, which are open to the family room. A powder room is nearby. A deck can be added off the breakfast area and family room, and a corner fireplace can be added to the family room.

Upstairs, the master suite has two walk-in closets and a luxury bath, with an optional boxed ceiling and deck available to buyers. This level also has two more bedrooms, a laundry room and a second full bath.
