The Washington Times incorrectly reported the job title of Shalaun Newton, co-president of the Northern Prince George’s County chapter of Mocha Moms, in an article in Friday’s editions. Mrs. Newton was a senior marketing manager at American Express.

Adrienne Washington’s “Metropolitan life” column on Tuesday incorrectly stated the relationship between attorney Ted A. Howard and a group of Montgomery County parents. Mr. Howard has counseled the parents who are challenging the way the school system tests students to determine who is eligible for the gifted-and-talented program. No lawsuit has been filed.
