K. Hovnanian Homes is building 232 single-family homes on 8,000- to 10,000-square-foot homesites at the Preserve in Accokeek, a community with plenty of open space, walking trails, tennis courts and a planned swimming pool.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include upgraded siding and a two-car garage.

Inside, all six models feature four bedrooms, 21/2 baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, 42-inch cabinets in the kitchen, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 3,050 to 3,700 finished square feet, with base prices from $535,990 to $625,990. Homeowner association fees are $52 per month.

The New York model, with 3,400 square feet, is priced from $615,990. This home features a front porch leading into an open foyer. The formal living room features windows on two sides and columns that separate this room from the dining room. The first-floor library includes a bay window.

Across the rear of the home are an open family room, breakfast area and center-island kitchen with a built-in desk and a pantry. The main level also includes a powder room and a laundry room.

Upstairs, the master suite has two walk-in closets, a linen closet and a bath with a tub, separate shower, a second linen closet and a dual-sink vanity.

Three more bedrooms, a linen closet and a second full bath complete this level. The second bedroom has a cathedral ceiling.
