The Penrose Group and the Donohue Cos. are building 131 loft-style condominium homes at the Lofts at Park Crest in McLean, a Tysons Corner-area development with a staffed front desk, a rooftop swimming pool and sun terrace, a fitness center and a gourmet grocery store with a coffee bar.

The Lofts at Park Crest encompasses one of seven buildings in this Fairfax County community that surround a landscaped park. The building includes private underground parking. Most of the homes have a private terrace.

Inside, all 19 models feature one or two bedrooms; one or two full baths; hardwood flooring in the living areas; high ceilings with exposed ductwork; large windows; granite counters in the kitchen and baths; Italian ceramic tile flooring in all baths; stainless steel appliances in the kitchen including a gas cooktop; and high-speed Internet prewiring. Some of the floor plans have two levels.

The homes have about 740 to 1,600 finished square feet, with base prices from the $500,000s to more than $1,000,000. Monthly condominium association fees range from $396 to $847.

The Royal model’s foyer opens into an open floor plan with 11-foot ceilings, exposed columns and ductwork, a kitchen with a movable center island and a combined living and dining room with a door to a patio.

The Valencia model features a full bath with a laundry room and a closet off the foyer, along with stairs to a loft bedroom with a closet. The main level features an open living and dining room with a wall of windows and a glass door to a balcony, along with a movable center island and open kitchen.
