The Redskins wrapped up their lone practice today at noon and finally got some break with the weather. An actual cloud or two blocked the sun and the wind picked up to the point where it felt good.

Couple observations heading into tomorrow’s scrimmage against Baltimore:

1. It gets more impossible each year to determine who is actually having a good camp. If a cornerback is getting consistently burned, I can’t see it. If a defensive tackle is getting man-handled, I can’t see it. It’s all about the scrimmage and the four games to figure out who’s doing what.

2. I’ll be watching Jason Campbell and Brandon Lloyd (offense) and Rocky McIntosh and Andre Carter (defense) during the scrimmage.

3. The Redskins got through the first week lucky on the injury front. David Patten hasn’t practiced yet but appears on the way back and Carlos Rogers’ back kept him out for two days. There’s something to be said for not hitting a ton in training camp.

4. A bunch of little kids were at camp today and placed in an area where they couldn’t see anything. It was hot, they looked bored and had to sit on the ground. It was pointless that they were there. They should have been at the local swimming pool or soccer field.

5. Everybody covering the Redskins can’t wait for Sunday. An off day! I’m thinking about going to see “Miami Vice.” The last three movies I saw have been “Scoop” (ok); “You, Me and Dupree” (very funny) and “The Devil Wears Prada” (very funny as well).

Here is tomorrow’s scrimmage schedule so fans can follow what’s going on…
