• A sign that Eagles-Redskins isn’t interesting to everybody: Armed with a clipboard and pen, one fan worked on a crossword puzzle throughout the first half.

• The rundown on jerseys of ex-players worn by fans in the lower bowl: Doug Williams, John Riggins, Pat Fischer, Patrick Ramsey, Terry Allen, Dexter Manley, LaVar Arrington, Darrell Green, Sonny Jurgensen, Champ Bailey and Joe Theismann — all in the same section.

• Believe it or not, this actually appeared on the stadium’s antiquated video screen, which needs to be upgraded to NFL-quality from the current Division III level: “12th Man Tip No. 1: Be loud when we’re on D.” Would such a reminder be necessary if Redskins fans really are, as they are (self) proclaimed, the “best fans in the NFL”?

• It’s time to retire the “Funky Four” dancers. They made their regular appearance in the third quarter to virtually no response. Their video introduction is longer than the actual routine.
