The American Friends of the Hebrew University honored former Secretary of State Colin L. Powell and former Ambassador to Denmark Stuart Bernstein and his wife, Wilma, Wednesday night at the group’s annual dinner benefiting the leading Israeli research and education institution. Mr. Powell (far right) received the group’s Truman Peace Prize for his many efforts to resolve conflicts around the world. Mr. Bernstein (left) and Mrs. Bernstein (second from left) took home the Scopus Award for their involvement in humanitarian causes of local, national and international scope. Alma Powell (second from right) attended with her husband.
