JetBlue Airways is adding 4 inches of legroom to its Airbus A320 planes. The conversion is set to be completed by March 2 and will offer passengers in the first 11 rows 36 inches of pitch — the space from one seat back to another — instead of the previous 32 inches. JetBlue already offers 34 inches of pitch for passengers in rows 12 through 25, and that will stay the same. JetBlue’s fleet of Embraer 190s will not be affected by this change. The low-cost carrier flies A320s from Washington Dulles International Airport to West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale in Florida; Las Vegas; and San Diego, Long Beach and Oakland in California.
