Ryan Homes is building 52 single-family houses on 5,000- to 7,000-square-foot home sites at Arora Hills in Clarksburg, where plans include parks, two swimming pools, playing fields, 374 preserved acres of open space with streams and nature trails.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick stoop and front walk, 61/2-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a detached two-car garage.

Inside, all four models feature three or four bedrooms; 21/2 or 31/2 baths; hardwood or ceramic tile flooring in the foyer, kitchen, hall and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on the first and second levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets, a pantry and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; a finished recreation room and full bath on the lower level; and gas heat.

The homes have about 1,900 to 2,900 finished square feet, with base prices from $539,990 to the upper $650,000s. Homeowner association fees are $120 per month.

The Hemingway model, with 1,900 square feet, is priced from $539,990. This home features a formal living room and formal dining room flanking the foyer, which has an arched window above the staircase at the side of the house. The kitchen and breakfast area includes a breakfast bar overlooking the family room, which has a door to a covered porch. The laundry room is adjacent to the breakfast area.
