SEEN AND HEARD

Gilbert Arenas, named to the Eastern Conference All-Star team last week, was named Eastern Conference player of the week.

“This is a great honor,” Arenas said. “We played well against some very good teams, and it was a great overall week for our team.”

“Gilbert had an exceptional week,” Wizards coach Eddie Jordan said. “He was extremely productive at both ends of the floor. Gilbert played an instrumental role in leading our team to a winning homestand.”
