After scores of deaths in a rash of bombings last week, police reported not a single incident of insurgent violence in Baghdad Tuesday, as the city lay quiet in observation of the Muslim feast Eid al-Adha. Muslims from both sects used the opportunity to call for an end to violence, the Associated Press reported.
