American Heritage Homes is building 75 single-family homes on 2- to 7-acre homesites at Mineral Springs Plantation near Fredericksburg. The community features mature trees and a reservoir. Some waterfront homes are available.

Each home in this Spotsylvania County community will include three sides of large tumbled brick, a brick step and stoop, Hardiplank siding, professional landscaping and a three-car, side-entry garage.

Inside, all four models feature four bedrooms; 31/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer, hall, kitchen and breakfast area; oak stairs; 9- and 10-foot ceilings; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets, granite counters and recessed lighting in the kitchen; ceramic tile flooring in the baths, laundry and mud room; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; and gas heat and hot water.

This home features a living room and dining room flanking the foyer, decorative columns and a great room with a wall of windows and a 14-foot-high ceiling. The kitchen includes a walk-in pantry and an adjacent breakfast room with three sides of windows and a cathedral ceiling.

The first-floor master suite has a separate sitting room with columns, a cathedral ceiling and windows on three sides, a walk-in closet and a bath with a window seat.
