At the new planned community of Grenata in Leesburg, Edgemoore Homes is building gracious

homes in its Symphony Series with 5,181 to 6,254 finished square feet of living space and 3 to 5 acres of land per home.

A grand monument with stone pillars, iron fencing and a divided boulevard with a landscaped island in the center provides a dramatic entrance to this upscale community, which also includes two ponds and two stone piers with an embedded address stone at the entrance to each homesite.

Just 29 homes will be built by Edgemoore Homes at Grenata, each priced from $1,600,000 to $1,800,000. Buyers will find an array of sophisticated standard features in the estate homes at Grenata, with the option of adding elevators, wine cellars, saunas, media and theater rooms, and covered decks to personalize their residences.

Each home will be built with four sides of handcrafted brick, with a brick paving stone entry stoop, a three-car side-entry garage and a covered front entrance porch with a copper roof.

Inside, each will feature a grand entrance foyer with a double wooden front door, an oak main staircase and oak stairs to the lower level, 10-foot ceilings on the first floor, 9-foot ceilings on the second floor, arched entrances, interior columns, transoms and hand-finished oak hardwood floors. The homes include two gas fireplaces, upgraded kitchens and luxurious baths with granite counters.

The Mozart model, with 5,251 square feet, is base-priced from $1,602,000. This home features an angled front porch with columns leading into a three-level foyer open to the lower and upper levels and surrounding a curving staircase.

French doors with a transom lead into the library and an arched entrance opens onto the formal living room, which has two glass doors leading to a second front porch with columns.

On the opposite side of the foyer is the formal dining room, which includes a bay window and a pivoting door into the kitchen.

Across the back of the home are a powder room with an arched entrance and a family room with a 12-foot beamed ceiling, two walls of windows with transoms, a gas fireplace and arched entrance to the adjacent keeping room.

The keeping room, breakfast area and center-island kitchen are open to each other and include a coffered ceiling. The keeping room has two walls of windows and a gas fireplace, while the breakfast area has two more walls of windows. The kitchen includes a built-in desk and an oversized island, with a nearby second staircase to the upper level.

Just past the kitchen are a walk-in pantry, a second powder room, and an entrance to the garage. The first-floor laundry room has an outside entrance with a covered stoop with columns in addition to the entrance into the kitchen, and includes extra storage space.

Upstairs, the master suite has an arched entrance with a transom and decorative columns, a tray ceiling, two Palladian windows and an optional private covered porch.

The separate sitting room includes decorative columns and a wall of windows, and it can be enhanced with a gas fireplace and built-in shelving. The master bath includes a dressing area, a tub set under a window, a large shower and two separate vanities. The suite also has a triple-size walk-in closet. Buyers can add a morning bar to the dressing area.

An arched entrance leads into the second bedroom, which has a private full bath and a walk-in closet. The third and fourth bedrooms also have an arched entrance, and each has a walk-in closet. They share a hall bath with a double-sink vanity.

The lower level of the Mozart offers a variety of spaces for customization and can include a club room, a media room, an exercise room, a billiards room, a wine cellar, a wet bar and a standard full bath or a spa bath with a sauna and steam shower.
