U.S. and Iraqi forces apprehended more than 50 suspected terrorist insurgents throughout Iraq last week, Stars and Stripes reported Friday.

Nineteen of the arrests occured during a series of raids by Iraqi forces outside Baqouba and 10 were arrested in or around Beiji by U.S. forces, including four men who were said to be “closely tied to a terrorist ring responsible for committing murders and beheadings in the area.”
