An article about the Washington Animal Rescue League’s renovated shelter, published Wednesday, inadvertently omitted the name of the D.C. architect who designed the changes. Damon Philip Ward, who died in a shooting on U Street Northwest in February, worked on the project as an architect at Stoiber and Associates.
