Steuart-Kret Homes is building 54 single-family homes on 1- to 2-acre lots at the Preserve at Braemar in Accokeek, across the street from the Potomac Ridge Golf Course and near shopping and Piscataway Park.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include maintenance-free vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. Brick fronts and three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all five models feature four or five bedrooms; two to four full baths and one half bath; hardwood flooring in the foyer; crown and chair-rail moldings; a brick fireplace; upgraded cabinets and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with ceramic tile flooring, a tub and separate shower; a full basement with a rough-in for a bath; and a security system.

The homes have 2,947 to 7,211 finished square feet, with base prices from the upper $600,000s. Homeowner association fees are $480 per year.

The Valencia model, with 4,332 to 7,211 square feet, features a two-story foyer flanked by the formal living room and formal dining room. The split staircase is accessible from both the foyer and the kitchen. The main level also has a library, a powder room, a two-story family room with a fireplace and a wall of windows, a center-island kitchen and breakfast area, and a laundry room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room, a dormer window in the bedroom, two walk-in closets and a bath.

The second bedroom has a private full bath while the third and fourth bedrooms share a connecting bath.
