Air New Zealand and Qantas Airways have summer deals to the South Pacific. Air New Zealand is offering flights to Auckland from San Francisco for $974 and from Los Angeles for $914. Travelers can purchase flights to other New Zealand cities such as Wellington, Queenstown, Christchurch, Napier, Dunedin or Nelson for $50 more per flight. Tickets must be purchased by June 15. Qantas is extending its popular Aussie AirPass through Sept. 21. The AirPass is good for the international flight to Sydney, and then travelers can choose three other flights to other locations in Australia. The five-star Fairmont Scottsdale Princes is offering rooms for $99 this summer and early fall. The offer is available every day of the week beginning June 25 and running through Sept. 6. Chicago’s Field Museum is next up on the “Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs” international tour. The exhibit features more than 120 artifacts — many of which have never before been on display outside Egypt — that focus on the child pharaoh.

The Sofitel Chicago Water Tower is offering a special Tut-themed package for visitors looking not only for VIP exhibit passes but also for a place to rest after a long day at the museum.

The package includes two VIP tickets to the exhibit, one-night deluxe accommodations, breakfast for two at the hotel, a book on King Tutankhamen, and a special Tut-themed snack.
